Allen L. Spitler, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Dr. Spitler joined Cardiovascular Consultants in 1980. He received his pre-medical and medical degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. His internship training was performed at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Dr. Spitler was called to Active Duty and spent two years stationed at Fort McClellan in Alabama. Dr. Spitler completed his residency and cardiovascular fellowship at the University of Oklahoma. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. 

Dr. Spitler is a Fellow in the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow with the Council on Clinical Cardiology. Dr. Spitler is a member of the American Heart Association, American Medical Association, and the Cape Girardeau County Area Medical Society.
