Kenneth W. Retter, M.D., FACC, FSCAI

 

Dr. Retter joined Cardiovascular Consultants in 1993.  He received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis then completed his internship and residency at Southwestern Michigan Area Health Education Center at Kalamazoo, Michigan.  Dr. Retter completed his cardiology and interventional fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit Michigan.  He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology and has received diplomate certification with the Board of Nuclear Cardiology.

 

Dr. Retter is the Medical Director of Non-Invasive Vascular Labs at Saint Francis Medical Center and Southeast Missouri Hospital.  Dr. Retter is the Chairman of the Cardiovascular Diagnostic Committee at Southeast Missouri Hospital.  Dr. Retter is the Nuclear Radiation Safety Manager for Cardiovascular Consultants. 

 

Dr. Retter is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a Fellow with the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Intervention, and a member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.  He is also a member of the American Medical Association, Missouri State Medical Association, and Cape Girardeau County Area Medical Society.  His interests in addition to clinical cardiology include invasive and interventional cardiology, pacemaker and defibrillator insertion and peripheral vascular disease.
