Best reason to work at CVC: The physicians are caring. They genuinely care about their patients and the CVC staff. At CVC every department works together to care for our patients.
Describe a typical day for you at work: Monday and Wednesday are office clinic days. It is my responsibility to make certain that the clinic flows smoothly. A typical clinic day includes bringing the patient back, reviewing and recording the patient’s medication, placing the patient in and out of rooms, EKG monitoring, taking Chest X-rays, and making sure the procedure testing that was ordered, Echo and Nuclear, is completed. Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, is used to return patient phone calls and assist with stress tests.
What do you like about your job? Caring for our patients while working with Dr. Law and our clinical nurse specialist, Dawn Walston is the best part of my job. And, working with my co-workers is the same as working with my friends.
What challenges you at CVC? It is important to me to make certain that the needs of our patients are met.
Most fun experience working at CVC: Our Christmas party. Our staff has the opportunity to socialize with each other and give thanks for all of our blessings.
What do you like to do on weekends? Spend time with my family – which includes soccer, of course!
